FUNDRAISING

The Hereford Volunteer Fire Company is an all-volunteer organization comprised of members of the community.  We rely heavily on fund drive donations and fundraising for the majority of our operating income.  Follow us on Facebook for up-to-date information on current fundraisers.

We do several types of fundraising throughout the year.

YEARLY

• Annual Chicken BBQ
  • Usually scheduled on Memorial Day Weekend (May)
  • Meal includes:
    • 1/2 chicken
    • baked beans
    • baked potato
    • applesauce
    • pickled cabbage
    • roll and butter
    • Current cost per meal is $15.00 (2024)

MONTLY:

• Hoagie Sales
  • Runs October through May
  • Current cost per hoagie is $7.00 (2024)
  • Hoagies are 12″ with hot ham, salami, provolone cheese, onion, and tomato (regular)
  • No Onion hoagies are also available (no onion)
  • Hot pepper cups are available (hot)
  • Hoagies are made on the second Monday of the month, available for pickup after 6pm
  • Orders must be submitted at least 12 days prior to pickup date

• Ham and Cheese Sales
  • Runs June through August
  • Current cost per sandwich is $5.00 (2024)
  • Sandwiches are on a 4″ kiser roll with choice of American or Swiss cheese
  • Each sandwich includes mustard and mayo packets
  • Sandwiches are made on the second Monday of the month, available for pickup after 5:30pm
  • Orders must be submitted 12 days prior to pickup date

Other Fundraisers (not on a set schedule):

• Meat Tickets – jointly run with East Greenville Fire Company
  • usually run Spring and Fall
• Pew-Pew Tickets – various tickets throughout the year
