Brush 58 is a 1987 Chevrolet Pickup Truck. This unit is powered by a 6.2L diesel motor. Brush 58 has a 200gpm Darley pump with a 200 gallon tank and 8 gallon class A foam cell. Brush 58 is equipped with a 16″ and 20″ chainsaw. This unit is also equipped with a winch that can be mounted to the front and rear of the apparatus. Brush 58 originally served as a military vehicle, the truck was acquired from the PA DCNR. Members of the department worked hard to repaint the camouflage truck to the current red color and outfit the unit with the skid unit, tool boxes, and emergency lights. Brush 58 was placed into service in 2001.
